Getting Started in R
This is the first course in our Data Science with R Program. Both Data Scientist with R and Data Analyst with R career paths will be taught together until we have completed all the courses required for our Data Analyst with R program; upon which those who are only interested in becoming data analysts will receive a certificate of completion and graduate from our program. And thereafter, those who want to become data scientists will continue learning to complete the remaining course requirements.
In this course, students will master the basics of R programming language and will be able to perform simple data analysis tasks that do not require advanced R programming skills, upon completing this course. For our learning purposes, we will use South Sudan 2008 Census data and other publicly available datasets.
Students will receive a statement of accomplishment certificate after successfully completing this course.
