JIT offers three main services: (i) free online education (mainly data science training); (ii) financial literacy training, spiritual support, counseling, and guidance through its Family First initiative; and (iii) consultancy. Our Free Online Education program is geared toward helping South Sudanese (diaspora) working adults, middle and high school students, as well as college and/or university students who need free tutoring and mentoring; and most importantly, the South Sudanese working adults who want to transition to the field of data science, either as data analysts or data scientists (depending on their individual academic backgrounds or career choices). And our Family First Initiative is geared toward helping South Sudanese diaspora families to become financially literate and spiritually stronger and healthier to better compete in life. JITeam strongly believes that JIT’s free financial literacy training and coaching will help our families make better choices when buying a home, saving money for their kids’ education, and/or putting some money aside for their own retirements. Further, through spiritual support, counseling, and guidance, we’ll help our families grow into stronger Christ-centered families where both parents prioritize their families’ well-being and kids’ education. This amazing initiative will be spearheaded by Gai Bol Luom and Angeth Deng Garang.
And to raise sufficient funds to support these phenomenal programs, we will be offering consulting services in the areas of data science, machine learning, accounting, quantitative finance, education, and environmental science – more details about consultancy will be communicated at a later date.

JIT Weekly Devotion

Weekly devotion by Evangelist Gai Bol Luom

1 Samuel 16:7

But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”
